Plan Nine Skatepark Employment Opportunities
Plan Nine is looking for outgoing, self-starting and personable individuals to join our staff.  Along with the aforementioned traits it is also important that you possess a passion for one or more of the activities Plan Nine Skatepark is designed for, namely skateboarding, BMX or aggressive inline.  You will be expected to approach your job with the same passion and motivation as the action sport you participate in and furthermore act as a mentor to those who you serve in the workplace.  Your job at Plan Nine will go beyond basic duties as you will also be an ambassador for your sport.
Plan Nine Skatepark offers three types of employment throughout the year.  Please review each choice before completing the employment application.
Volunteer Staff
The Plan Nine Skatepark volunteer staff will handle all skatepark duties from cleaning, monitoring, attendance, light maintenance, etc.  This is the ideal position for someone looking to move up to the sales staff or someone who would like the benefits of our sales staff but can’t or won’t be able to work as a paid employee. Our volunteer staff receives all the benefits of staff members including unlimited free park sessions, deep discounts on merchandise, after hours and private event attendance, etc.
Pay: Volunteer
Work Week: 10-15 hours per week
Availability: evenings, weekends, (weekdays recommended, not required)
Age Requirements: 15 years of age or older
Sales Clerk
Plan Nine sales clerks handle all aspects of the skatepark retail operation.  Strong people skills are a must and any previous retail experience is beneficial.  Share your passion for the sport while interacting with customers and showing them the things that make it so great to you, both on your board and behind the sales counter.   Benefits include, unlimited free park sessions, deep discounts on merchandise, after hours and private event attendance, etc.
Pay: Minimum Wage and Up
Work Week: 10-40 hours per week
Availability: evenings, weekends, (weekdays recommended, not required)
Age Requirements: 17 years of age or older
Ramp Camp Instructor
Plan Nine Ramp Camp instructors will be needed for summer Ramp Camp as well as mini and holiday camps to teach campers of all ages basic to advanced skills.  Instructors will need to be intermediate or better skill level and possess above average communication skills with a great deal of patience.  Instructors will also participate in all aspects of camp including group activities, contests, lunch, etc. Benefits include, unlimited free park sessions, deep discounts on merchandise, after hours and private event attendance, etc.
Pay: $100-$200 weekly
Work Week: 30-40 hours per week
Availability: weekdays, weekends, seasonal
Age Requirements: 16 years of age or older
